This project has been made possible through £10,000 of funding from the Big Lottery Breathing Places programme.
This project involved developing a small area of the park that previously contained a shrub bed and an area of informal grass. Works that have taken place include re-surfacing the footpath, the construction of a stone-wall, and the development of wildlife habitat through planting native shrubs and wildflowers. To complement this work, new signage (including a species information lectern) and seating has been installed.
Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council have supported the Friends of Hollycroft Park in developing the wildlife haven within the park
